【 演講簡介 About the Lecture 】

舞蹈總存在於空間，環境舞蹈創作面對非劇場舞台空間是如何思考呢？本演講將以古舞團在大溪鎮百年古厝為演出空間的舞作《回來》(2012)為例，由「記憶」及「地方」的哲學視角探視空間中身體再現及沉浸式觀舞。「記憶」是非單點的過往，但不只是時間的過往，也是在身體在「地方」的曾經。

Dance always exists within space, but how does site-specific dance creation approach non-theatrical performance spaces? This lecture will examine Voltar (2012), a work by Ku & Dancers performed in a century-old residence in Daxi Township. Through the philosophical lenses of "memory" and "place," we will explore the body's presence in space and the immersive experience of dance. Memory is not a single point in the past—it is more than a record of time; it is the imprint of the body's past presence in a place.

朱星朗 Christopher CHU

古舞團創團成員，國立臺北藝術大學舞蹈研究所碩士畢、博士班研習中。歷任台大現代舞社顧問及指導老師。並獲多個舞蹈及戲劇團體、大學邀請演出、創作及授課。主要教授接觸即興、即興舞蹈表演以及舞蹈編創。

Founding member of Ku & Dancers, Christopher Chu holds a Master’s degree from the Taipei National University of the Arts Dance School and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies. He has served as an advisor and instructor for the National Taiwan University Modern Dance Club. Chu has been invited to perform, choreograph, and teach for numerous dance and theater groups as well as universities. His teaching expertise lies in contact improvisation, dance improvisation performance, and choreography.
