講座以藝術家吳權倫《複巢》展覽為起點，並邀請獨立策展人沈伯丞老師參與，共同從科學與博物館學角度，深入探討人類關於收集／收藏(collecting)的複雜行為與背後慾望。講座將穿梭於自然史、科學、與美學之間，思索收集／收藏如何形塑出另類世界觀。蒐集物作為自然與文化交界的物件，承載著時間、知識與情感的投射，映照出人類與自然、理性與感性之間的曖昧張力。重新凝視蒐集物的魔力，探索物件如何以聚集之姿成為歷史與當代的對話場域。
This talk takes artist WU, Chuan Lun’s exhibition oology and others as its starting point, and invites independent curator SHEN, Bo-Cheng to join in the discussion. Together, they will delve into the complex human behaviors and underlying desires behind collecting, viewed through the lenses of science and museology. The talk will move between natural history, science, and aesthetics, reflecting on how the act of collecting shapes alternative worldviews. As objects situated at the intersection of nature and culture, collections carry projections of time, knowledge, and emotion, revealing the subtle tensions between humanity and nature, rationality and sensibility. By revisiting the allure of collected objects, the lecture explores how they gather into sites where history and the contemporary come into dialogue.

沈伯丞 | SHEN, Bo-Cheng
國立臺南藝術大學藝術創作與理論博士，現為國立臺北藝術大學美術學院助理教授及藝評人。因為崇拜馬蓋先，所以想不開去唸了化學，當過材料工程師；又因為嚮往印第安納瓊斯，所以曾投入考古研究；仰慕奧地學派將經濟學視為人類行為學的概念，所以跑去任職中華經濟研究院研究員；喜歡展覽所以兼差策展人，並多次擔任國美館、當代館專題導覽講師。藝評文章散見於典藏今藝術、Artouch等。
SHEN, Bo-Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Art Creation and Theory from Tainan National University of the Arts. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts, as well as an art critic. Inspired by Angus MacGyver, he first pursued chemistry and worked as a materials engineer. Drawn by the adventures of Indiana Jones, he once engaged in archaeological research. Admiring the Austrian School, which views economics as a study of human behavior, he went on to serve as a research fellow at the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research. His love for exhibitions also led him to work as a part-time curator, and he has frequently served as a guest lecturer for special guided tours at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei. His critical writings are seen in ARTCO, Artouch, and other publications.
