吳靜芳 | WU Ching-Fang
WU Ching-fang is from Chiayi and used to work as an animator at a cartoon company and editor of a children publishing company. WU specializes in illustrations and design.
WU has focused on creating paper sculptures and teaching since 1991. WU's "National Paper Sculpture Solo Exhibition Tour," organized by the National Culture and Arts Foundation, was invited to places including New York, Washington, Tokyo, Munich, Israel, China, Central and South America. Wu is also the recipient of the bronze prize of the "International Three-Dimensional Illustration Competition." WU's paper artworks include Paper Sculpture Animals, Field of Longing, My World of Paper Sculptures, The Art of Paper Sculpture, Spring and Summer of Tang Dynasty Poetry, and Autumn and Winter of Tang Dynasty Poetry. WU also created illustrations for Chang Ta-chuen’s novel An Autumn Leaf and is the editor and illustrator for The Pioneers of Taiwan Sculpture and My Mother’s Black Cloth Shoes.
