大山日出男 | OYAMA Hideo
大山日出男於東京藝術大學音樂系畢業後，隨即在東京音樂圈中展開爵士生涯，於日本知名的Sharp and Flat大樂團中長年擔任首席薩克斯風。自80年代末期，在日本展開全國巡迴演出，亦受邀至國際知名音樂節演出。
2007年，以「大山日出男四重奏」為名發行個人爵士樂專輯，獲得音樂評論家評選為當年度全國十大爵士專輯。2010年受邀進入日本皇宮演奏爵士樂，為極少數獲得此殊榮的爵士音樂家。除了演奏外，他亦在日本權威薩克斯風雜誌 The Sax 擔任五年的主筆，撰寫如五聲音階、爵士和聲及即興演奏等作品，被日本年輕世代的薩克斯風學習者視為典範。
After graduating from the music department of Tokyo University of the Arts, OYAMA Hideo embarked on his jazz journey in Tokyo and became the lead alto of famous Japanese band Sharp and Flat. Since the late-80s, OYAMA started touring across Japan and was invited to renowned international music festivals.
In 2007, OYAMA released his solo jazz album in the name of Hideo Oyama Quartet and the work was listed by music critics among the top ten jazz albums in the country. In 2010, OYAMA was invited to play jazz music at the Imperial Palace of Japan, becoming one of the few jazz musicians to be presented with the opportunity and honor. Apart from performances, OYAMA also worked for five years as the main writer for authoritative Japanese jazz magazine The Sax, writing works on the pentatonic scale, jazz harmonies and improvised performance. OYAMA is a model figure for young saxophone musicians in Japan.
今泉正明 | IMAIZUMI Masaaki
今泉正明自幼即展現對於鋼琴的天份，1986年獲得美國波士頓百克里音樂院獎學金赴美深造，1988年代表校方參加美國著名的NAJE爵士音樂節演出，獲得傑出演奏獎殊榮。1989年回到日本，隨即展開職業演奏生涯，曾與日本傑出爵士樂音樂家合作，如：松本英彥、日野皓正、渡邊貞夫等，亦與世界知名音樂家合作，如：Randy Brecker、Jimmy Cobb、Richie Cole等。除演出外亦致力於爵士樂的教學與推廣，目前任教於東京洗足音樂大學。
IMAIZUMI Masaaki's talent in piano was noticed at a young age. IMAIZUMI received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music scholarship to study in the US in 1986 and participated in the NAJE Jazz Music Festival as a representative of the college in 1988. IMAIZUMI's performance at the event was awarded the performance prize. In 1989, IMAIZUMI returned to Japan and embarked on his career as a professional performer, collaborating with outstanding Japanese jazz musicians such as MATSUMOTO Hidehiko, HINO Terumasa, WATANABE Sadao, as well as world-famous musicians including Randy Brecker, Jimmy Cobb, Richie Cole. Apart from performances, IMAIZUMI is also a strong advocator for educating and promoting jazz. IMAIZUMI currently teaches at the Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.

2001年獲紐約州立大學音樂碩士學位 。畢業後即在紐約展開職業演奏生涯。2006年發行專輯《Gone With The Wind》獲得紐約 All About Jazz 雜誌樂評Donald Elfman的介紹及好評。2003年擔任台中爵士音樂節國外部音樂總監，2003-2004年應「台北縣水岸爵士音樂節」邀請演出，並擔任節目策劃顧問；2004 年並與葛萊美獎得主 Joe Lavano（薩克斯風）、Bill Mays（鋼琴）合作，於國家音樂廳（台北）「夏日爵士派對」中演出。近年自紐約帶領樂團於台灣各地大專院校巡演，推廣爵士樂獲極大迴響。
After receiving a masters' degree from Purchase College, State University of New York 2001, LIN started pursuing a professional performance career in New York. In 2006, LIN released album Gone With The Wind, which was introduced and recommended by the music critic Donald Elfman in New York magazine All About Jazz. In 2003, LIN was appointed as the music director for foreign music at the Taichung Jazz Festival. In 2003 and 2004, LIN was invited to perform at the Taipei County Tamsui Waterfront Jazz Festival and was also appointed the program organizing consultant. In 2004, LIN collaborated with Grammy Award winner Joe Lavano (saxophone) and Bill Mays (piano) to perform in Summer Jazz at the National Concert Hall (Taipei). In the past recent years, LIN has led many New York music groups to perform in various universities across Taiwan, his endeavors to promote jazz music has been popularly received.
落合誠治 | OCHIAI Seiji
出生於日本靜岡縣，1990年在紐約時師事Bebop時代的傳奇鼓手Charlie Persip，自此在紐約展開職業演奏生涯。目前擔任艾靈頓公爵大樂團鋼琴手Kuni Mikami之鋼琴三重奏的專屬鼓手。
OCHIAI Seiji was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, and studied under New York legendary Bebop drummer Charlie Persip in 1990. OCHIAI has been a professional performer in New York ever since and is currently the exclusive drummer to the piano trio of Kuni Mikami, the pianist of Duke Ellington and His Orchestra.
