The strange, disfigured man is being exorcised! Jacek loves heavy metal music, his girlfriend, and his dog, but he is a weirdo in the eyes of his family, the other town residents, and members of his parish in a southern village in Poland. Jacek was working on a construction site, building the world's tallest sculpture of Christ, but was disfigured by an accident and becomes the first person in the country to receive a facial transplant. The local media treat Jacek's news as entertainment and plunges Jacek into self-doubt. Jacek is losing control and is forced to accept a second life he does not want.
