Ex Machina is a 2015 British independent sci-fi thriller written and directed by Alex Garland. The plot features Caleb, a staff of an IT company, who is invited to stay for a week at the mansion of the company's founder Nathan. However, the mansion is actually Nathan's secret laboratory, and Nathan shows Caleb the newly developed female AI robot "Ava" and asks Caleb to test whether it really has the mind of a human being.
導演介紹
亞力克斯‧嘉蘭 | Alex Garland
是一位英格蘭小說家、編劇、電影監製和導演。1992年畢業於曼徹斯特大學藝術史專業。他的外祖父是諾貝爾獎得主的英國生物學家彼得•梅達沃。 他妻子是英國女演員帕洛馬•貝薩。
